Stef Cantu and I first crossed paths in 2004 when she walked across a stage and I handed her a Linda Lorelle college scholarship. Today, she is on our Board. That, in itself, is quite a story, which we will definitely touch on. But there is so much more to this young woman who is thoughtful and kind and funny and wise and primed for an incredible future that was once unthinkable because of the circumstances she was born into.
